Movie studios do everything they can to avoid spoilers. Fans want to be shocked and surprised when an actor appears in a movie or a plot twist blows them away. As trailers reveal little and plot details are kept to a minimum, there is only so much a studio can do to stop an actor from revealing the plot of the film.

Over the years, several movies have been spoiled by actors including some of Hollywood’s biggest hits like The Avengers: Infinity War and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. When the Empire Strikes Back came out, fans were shocked to learn Luke Skywalker was actually the son of Darth Vader. The actor portraying Darth actually revealed the moment in an article published in a local newspaper. The Dark Knight Rises features a lot of twists and turns, but it was Anne Hathaway who appeared on David Letterman and was a part of the spoiler reveals. Sylvester Stallone was pumped to appear in the newest Rocky film, but he may have to learn a little more about sharing on social media first. The Time Traveler’s Wife features a lot of complicated parts when it comes to time travel, but Rachel McAdams decided to spoil it all on The Daily Show. Rogue One featured a lot of major deaths, but the plot was kept under wraps until one of the actor’s revealed his death in a shocking interview. Logan marked the end of the Wolverine, but no one expected him to go out the way he did and Hugh Jackman pretty much spoiled it for everyone.
