Samsung Cinema LED Wins Raves from Hollywood Filmmakers at the Busan International Film Festival

Designated as one of the official theaters at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), Samsung Cinema LED screen, delivering a next-generation theater experience, has won raves from global film industry professionals, movie critics, and viewers.

Samsung Cinema LED Screen was installed at the Lotte Cinema in Centum City, Busan this September, where audiences were treated to the film ‘Mother!’, with actress Jennifer Lawrence and directed by Darren Aronofsky. At this year’s BIFF, which is Asia’s largest film festival, around 300 movies from 75 countries were showcased throughout the festival. Samsung Cinema LED received high marks from film industry professionals, in particular for its realistic screen and color depiction keeping to the original intent of directors and producers.

As autonomous driving evolves and vehicles become more connected in the IoT space, the need for connectivity, data consumption, security and innovation become exponentially more important. The presentation will look at the automobile’s expected impact on the IoT space and will introduce the Harman Ignite platform. Harman Ignite is a cloud-based platform designed to support the automobile’s emersion into a broader IoT ecosystem that enables automotive OEMs to accelerate their autonomous vehicle visions.
