On day four of the Truckin Week to Wicked, we started our day with a good friend to Truckin for many years: Shawn Gibson. He brought out a full Gibson Performance stainless exhaust system for our 2017 Chevy Silverado that included state of the art ceramic coated headers and a split dual cat-back system with black powdercoated tips to match the look of the truck. And you better believe we fired up that supercharged 6.2L with open headers and woke up all the suits upstairs when the building shook!

It’s day three of the Truckin Week to Wicked, which started out with the crew finishing up the Superlift Suspension by modifying and reattaching the sway bar and tie rod ends. Very soon after, we were talking with Chris Dilbeck of PFC Brakes about the extremely nice machining process that goes into their “zero failure” rotors and cabon-metallic brake pads.

On the second day of the Truckin Week to Wicked, we were joined by Carl Montoya of Nitro Gear & Axle as well as Mike McLaughlin from Superlift Suspension. While some of us were back in corner of the shop with Carl adding the 4.30:1 Nitro gears into the Silverado’s front diff, the rest of us stayed with the truck and did all the necessary trimming to install the drop down brackets, knuckles and everything else we needed before we bolted on the King coilover shocks and raised the Z-71 another eight inches from the tarmac.
