Day 5 Recap. Today’s work consisted of adding all the necessary fluids- motor oil, gear lube, power steering fluid, and coolant. Since Gearstar ships their transmissions full of fluid, all the crew needed to do to it was top it off. They also installed and wired in the new Dakota Digital gauges, installed the power steering lines, and added a new Lokar throttle cable and transmission dipstick. Next up was to run the lines to the transmission cooler, bolt on the wheels and tires, and fire up the engine!

Day Four Recap. The team knocked out a big chunk of work today, and the 1969 Chevelle is that much closer to running with a new drivetrain: an LS3 from Gandrud Chevrolet, a 4L60E from Gearstar, and a Strange Engineering S60 with an Eaton Posi differential. Today, the crew finished plumbing the brake system, ran all the fuel lines, and wired the engine.

Audi is the latest manufacturer to launch an electric SUV, with this, the Audi e-tron.

It goes up against the likes of the Jaguar I-Pace, Mercedes-Benz EQC and Tesla Model X, by being a large and expensive big electric SUV/crossover/4×4.

At more than £70,000 in the UK this is a proper executive car proposition, and at nearly 2.5 tonnes it’s clearly a substantial car.

Partly that’s because of the weight of its 95kWh battery pack, which can be fast charged at up to 150kW, which means you can, with the right output, get 80% of charge into it in 30 minutes – though home charging, obviously, will take rather longer.
