Prices for the entry-level SE model Tivoli start at £12,950. For that you get a small SUV with air conditioning, seven airbags, an electronic stability programme, cruise control and smart steering.
If you’re in the market for a diesel car, the 1.6-litre Tivoli SE is available from £14,200, and features lower emissions (BIK tax is in the 20 per cent bracket). And if you want the security of all-wheel-drive, the new diesel-engined Tivoli 4×4 diesel is available from £17,199.
When it comes to running costs, the Tivoli is just as competitive. The 1.6-litre petrol unit has an official average 44.1mpg rating, and emits 149g/km, which means annual VED costs of £145.
