سواء كان ذلك عن طريق السيارة، أو الحافلة، أو عن طريق قيادة دراجة هوائية للذهاب إلى المتجر للتسوق، فإن الحركة والتنقل من الأمور المهمة بالنسبة لنمط الحياة. ويصبح المسنون مدركين لمدى أهمية ذلك عندما يفقدون القدرة المعتادة على الحركة أو التحمل، أو أن تصبح استجاباتهم أو ردود أفعالهم بطيئة، وهذا بدوره يحد من قدرتهم على تجنب ذلك، ويحد ذلك بدوره من قدرتهم على الحركة والتجول، لذا ينبغي تقوية قدرة الفرد الخاصة بالحركة في وقت مبكر قدر الإمكان لاستعادتها في وقت لاحق.
وبالنسبة لكثير من المسنين، تلعب السيارة دوراً كبيراً في حياتهم لمدة طويلة. وقالت كلوديا كايسر، وهي مستشارة في لجنة العمل الفيدرالية الألمانية لمنظمات المسنين «عندما يدرك الكبار أنهم أصبحوا أكثر تشككاً في قدرتهم على التكيف مع حركة المرور، فإنهم غالباً ما يطورون آليات تعويض جيدة للغاية. وعلى سبيل المثال لا يقودون السيارة ليلا، وتجنب أوقات الازدحام المروري، أو قصر القيادة على المناطق التي يعرفونها».
وفي الوقت الذي تصبح فيه السيارة أقل أهمية بالنسبة لهم، فإن وسائل النقل الأخرى تزيد أهميتها، وتكون وسائل النقل العامة هي البديل الحقيقي في مناطق المدينة. وقالت اخصائية أمراض الشيخوخة كايسر إن «التحول إلى الحافلة أو عربة الترام هي في الواقع أمر صعب غالباً بالنسبة للمسنين، إذا لم يكونوا معتادين الجداول الزمنية أو الأسعار».
أما الذين لديهم قدرة محدودة بدنياً فيمكنهم التحول من وسائل النقل إلى الدراجة، ولا يسمح ذلك بالاستقلالية فحسب، لكنه يساعد أيضاً في الحفاظ على صحة الفرد. فكثير من الأمراض يمكن تجنبها من خلال قيادة الدراجة على نحو منتظم، وفقاً لسابين جروندكه من الرابطة الألمانية لطب الممارسة العامة والعائلة، ومن بين تلك الأمراض ارتفاع ضغط الدم ووهن المفاصل والاكتئاب والسكري.
لكن هناك اثنين من الاستعدادات المطلوبة قبل أن تصبح الدراجة رفيقا يوميا. وتوصي جروندكه الأفراد بأن يستشيروا أولا طبيب العائلة، فبعد الفحص الطبي يأتي فحص الدراجة، والخطوة الأولى هي فحص السلامة التقليدي، وفي بعض الأحيان تكون الدراجة الجديدة ضرورية.
وقالت بيتينا سيبولسكي، من اتحاد الدراجات الألماني، إن «شركات تصنيع الدراجات حالياً تفعل الكثير للوفاء باحتياجات المسنين». فمن الأهمية بشكل خاص وجود مسافة كبيرة بين المقعد ويدي المقود، ما يسمح بسهولة وراحة في الهبوط والصعود.
والذين يستعينون بالدراجة وسيلة رئيسة للنقل يجب أن يستخدموها كثيرا. وتقول جروندكه «من 10 إلى 20 دقيقة يومياً تعد فائدة حقيقية، والأفضل من 20 إلى 30 دقيقة على الأقل ثلاث مرات أسبوعياً». والقيادة يجب أن تكون مسترخية بما يكفي لإجراء حوار خلال القيادة، وقصر النفس واللهث هما من العلامات التحذيرية التي يجب عدم تجاهلها.
وبدائل الدراجة هي كل أشكال السير على الأقدام، من التجول إلى السير المنتظم، وحتى الحصول على عطلة للمشي مسافات طويلة، وجميعها تمثل فرصاً جيدة للحفاظ على القدرة على الحركة، إلا أن المسنين يحتاجون إلى عدم القيام بذلك من تلقاء أنفسهم، ويمكن أن يرافقهم أيضاً أفراد العائلة والأصدقاء والجيران أو المتطوعون بتقديم المساعدة.
فريد علي: الحمادي حكم مباراة العين والأهلي بدرجة 9 من 10

منح الحكم الدولي السابق في كرة القدم فريد علي النجومية التحكيمية خلال الجولة الاولى لدوري المحترفين لكرة القدم للحكمين الدوليين يعقوب الحمادي، ومحمد عبدالله حسن البلوشي اللذين قادا مباراتي العين والأهلي والنصر والجزيرة، ومنح كل منهما درجة تسع درجات من ،10 مؤكداً ان كلاً منهما قاد مباراته بصورة متميزة، لاسيما الحمادي الذي اعتبره مشروع حكم جيد، رغم أن المباراة التي قادها لم تكن سهلة.
وقال فريد علي لـ«الإمارات اليوم» خلال التحليل الاسبوعي لأداء الحكام «رغم اختلافي مع الحمادي في ركلة الجزاء التي احتسبها لمصلحة الأهلي وسجل منها هدف التعادل في المباراة (17) بداعي عرقلة حارس مرمى العين داود سليمان للاعب الأهلي لويس خيمينيز، حيث إن الأخير وقع على الارض قبل اصطدامه بالحارس، لكنني اعتبر أن الحكم اتخذ قرارين جريئين، هما احتسابه ركلة جزاء لمصلحة العين سجل منها الأخير هدفه الثالث في الدقيقة ،71 وكذلك قراره بطرد لاعب العين الروماني رادوي في الدقيقة 85». وعلى صعيد القرارات التحكيمية للحكم محمد عبد الله حسن خلال قيادته لمباراة النصر والجزيرة، أكد فريد ان جميع القرارات التحكيمية التي اتخذها الحكم كانت سليمة، كما انه اطلق خلال المباراة نحو 19 صافرة كانت جميعها سليمة. وأشار الى انه بالنسبة للحكم عمار الجنيبي الذي ادار مباراة الوصل والوحدة، فإنه لم يكن موفّقاً في قراره احتساب ركلة جزاء لمصلحة الوصل (52)، وسدد منها هدفه الثاني في المباراة، ولم يكن قراره سليماً، لكون ان الحالة كانت مجرد احتكاك طبيعي لحارس مرمى الوحدة عادل الحوسني مع لاعب الوصل راشد عيسى، لافتاً الى ان الحكم تغاضى في الوقت نفسه عن احتساب ركلة جزاء للوصل في الشوط الأول تسبب فيها مدافع الوحدة حمدان الكمالي، لكن الحكم اشار باستمرار اللعب، مؤكداً انه يمنح الجنيبي سبع درجات من .10 واعتبر فريد أنه بشكل عام فإن احتساب الحكام لبعض ركلات الجزاء تعتبر قرارات تقديرية. وبالنسبة للحكم عبدالواحد خاطر الذي قاد مباراة الشباب وبني ياس، فقد اشار الى أن الحكم لم يقع في اخطاء تحكيمية مؤثرة في نتيجة المباراة، رغم ان لاعب بني ياس محمد فوزي كان يستحق الطرد، ورغم أن الشباب لم يتضرر من عدم طرد اللاعب لكونه فائزاً بنتيجة المباراة لكن في الوقت نفسه، فإن بني ياس استفاد من هذا الأمر، لافتاً الى انه يمنح الحكم ثماني درجات من .10 وعلى صعيد مباراة دبا الفجيرة ودبي التي قادها الحكم حمد علي يوسف فقد أكد فريد علي أنها كانت مباراة سهلة بالنسبة لطاقم تحكيم المباراة ولم تشهد حالات تحكيمية مؤثرة، مؤكداً انه يمنح الحكم ثماني درجات من ،10 فيما أشار الى ان مباراة عجمان والظفرة التي قادها الحكم عبدالله العاجل الذي منحه ثماني درجات من 10 لم تشهد اية قرارات مؤثرة، لافتاً الى أن الحال نفسها تنطبق على مباراة اتحاد كلباء والشعب التي قادها الحكم الدولي حمد الشيخ، مؤكداً انه رغم أن الحكم تغاضى عن احتساب ركلة جزاء واضحة للشعب في الشوط الثاني، الا انه يمنحه ثماني درجات من .10

The South managed to beat the North again in the second edition of Red Bull Latitude Zero by 126-95. The beach volleyball team led by Ricardo (BRA), Bruno Schmidt (BRA), Tamsin Hinchley (AUS) and Maria Clara (BRA) was crowned champion once again in the unique tournament “Battle of the Hemispheres”, which separates the teams by the Equator line in Macapá, Brazil. The North team was represented by Todd Rogers (USA), Phil Dalhausser (USA), Maria Tsiartsiani (GRE), and Vicky Arvaniti (GRE).

Perfect sunshine and winds between 15 and 20 knots are usually the recipe for just another training day in the life of PKRA Freestyle World Champion Bruna Kajiya, but on the last week of September 2012, Bruna took on a unique challenge 13 kilometers away from the coast of Rio Grande do Norte state in Northeastern Brazil: kiteboarding on a salt island. Bruna was joined by fellow Brazilian standout Reno Romeu as the pair tackled the Agua Branca Salt Terminal, a trading post through which over 2 million tons of salt are commercialized every year. The glistening crystalline surface providing a kiteboarding medium unlike any other, and challenged these world class kiteboarders to adapt and conquer the new terrain. ___________________________________________________________
