Luigi, the Green Mario, the green machine. He has been pushed to the side and swept under the rug so many times, it has become its own tired joke in the Nintendo fandom. However, if we were to look at the other Mario Brother, we would see a total original. Where Mario has become dull, flat and static, Luigi is dynamic, expressive and totally his own man. Nintendo even gave him his own year to celebrate all the things he has accomplished. Some of us may have a favorite Nintendo character whether it be Samus, Fox McCloud or Donkey Kong, but there is only one underdog we should all be rooting for. Luigi!

We have seen our favorite green plumber take on more than Goombas. We have seen him take on ghosts, viruses and his own insecurities. When it comes to the Mario Bros., there are just some things Mario can’t do that Luigi excels at and this is what we are looking at today. These are some of the things Luigi can do that Mario can’t. We all love animated films right? They’re not only fun but full of memorable characters and most importantly, breathtaking animations. They help take us to new worlds or to see our world in a different light. But despite the attention to detail that goes into them, mistakes still happen. Take Disney’s Frozen, which has it’s fair share of mistakes but the one we’re talking about this time focuses on a certain snowman named Marshmallow. Other Disney and Pixar films have made mistakes, such as Finding Dory, Big Hero 6, Zootopia and Moana. They all look gorgeous but still have something that draws us out a bit. But it’s not all Disney and it’s not all for kids. Batman: The Killing Joke is definitely not for kids but still remains one of the most talked about and polarizing films of that year. One animation mistake can be found during one such scene that divided fans. Other films include the return of Spongebob Squarepants to the big screen and of course, the Minions, who are always up to no good it seems. Luckily for them, this mistake actually has nothing to do with them specifically so they’re off the hook this time. The Peanuts Movie saw the return of Charlie Brown and Snoopy to the big screen yet despite it’s unique and charming animation style, was also the victim of some animation mistakes. Cars 3 raced into cinemas so we looked back at the first Cars, which had an usual cow tipping scene which caused the film one of its biggest mistakes.

“AF”—known on social media as the abbreviation of “As F*ck,” became a huge trend in the world of internet slang. Acronyms and abbreviations are used on social media all the time, mostly to get a point across in fewer characters.

We wanted to find out if it should be considered a word all on its own, so we asked someone who compiles dictionaries if the famed abbreviation, “AF,” could actually became a word.

In 2011, Naghmeh Farzaneh left her home in Iran to study abroad in the United States. When she first arrived, a simple exchange—like selecting ingredients in line at a fast food restaurant—could quickly become an overwhelming situation. During these difficult times, Farzaneh would take comfort in thinking about a piece of wisdom her mother shared while planting geraniums. In Scent of Geranium, Naghmeh Farzaneh brings watercolors to life in a beautiful animation that highlights her experience as an immigrant.
