بعد مرور 300 سنة على الدراما الرومانسية التي وقعت في اسبانيا، بدأ العمال في العمل على إعادة ترميم كنيسة مدينة سان بيدرو وشملت أعمال الترميم بعض عمليات الحفر في اساسات الكنيسة، واثناء ذلك عثر الحفٌارون بالصدفة على مجموعتين من الرفاة البشرية وبفضل هذا الاكتشاف تم حلٌ لغز اسباني قديم من إحدى حكايات الفولكلور الاسباني وهو ما جعل السياح يتوافدون عاماً تلو الأخر على تلك المدينة التي أصبحت ذكرى لقصة رومانسية مثيرة انتهت نهاية مأساوية
