D3Live: Best Upcoming Games of 2010

In this episode of D3Live I discuss my picks for the best upcoming games of 2010. The year already has been fantastic for games on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii as well as for the PC and the second half of 2010 looks just as solid. I talk about Portal 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Halo: Reach, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (which is a 2011 release) and lastly but certainly not least Gears of War 3. All in all it’s shaping up to be a great year for video games.

D3Live is a weekly show I do live on BlogTV every weekend (usually on Saturday). If you are interested in asking me questions for the video or just watching the show live keep an eye out as I will post a video here on YouTube before I begin. http://www.blogtv.com/People/duncan33303

I talk about the HTC Droid Incredible, the Motorola Droid X as well as the Motorola Droid 2. Each phone runs Android, Android 2.1 with HTC Sense on the Droid Incredible, Android 2.1 with a custom Motorola interface on the Droid X and what looks like stock Android 2.2 on the Droid 2.

How To Get Game Center on iOS 4

In this video I show you how to get Game Center on your iPhone or iPod touch on iOS 4. It is a very simple process that requires you to put the iOS 4 Gold Master on your device which is almost identical to the standard iOS 4. Practically the only difference is that it comes with Game Center preinstalled.

There are a few requirements however. You will need a Windows or Mac computer that is running iTunes 9.2 and either an iPod touch 2G, iPod touch 3G, iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS. iOS 4 (and therefore Game Center) is not supported on the iPod touch 1G or the iPhone 2G. In addition there is no Gold Master version of iOS 4 for the iPhone 4.

Once you have backed up your device and restored iOS 4 GM onto it you should have Game Center. There isn’t much to do in it as of yet however so this is only for people who just don’t want to wait for it to be released in a later update.
