Browser Test: Chrome 15 vs Firefox 7 vs Internet Explorer 9 vs Opera 11.52 vs Safari 5.1

Download Google Chrome 15.0.874.102: http://www.google.com/chrome/

Download Mozilla Firefox 7.0.1: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/

Download Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie/home

Download Opera 11.52: http://www.opera.com/browser/

Download Apple Safari 5.1.1: http://www.apple.com/safari/

In this video I compare Chrome 15 vs Firefox 7 vs Internet Explorer 9 vs Opera 11.52 vs Safari 5.1.1 to see which is fastest at Javascript, general web browsing, HTML5 compliance, memory usage and GPU hardware acceleration. Each browser has their own pros and cons as well as special features however here I just look at the raw benchmarks to determine the winner.

The benchmarks I use are Peacekeeper, Dromaeo, memory usage, HTML5 Fishbowl and the HTML5 Test. Each is run multiple times on the same Windows 7 computer to ensure a fair fight.

Tapas Recipe – How to Make Tapas | Allrecipes.com

In this episode of “What’s Cooking?” Michael travels to the Twin Cities where Allrecipes home cook, Raelee, teaches us how to make Tapas!

We started with Raelee’s Creamy Goat Cheese and Honey recipe, a simple tapa made with creamy goat cheese, honey, rosemary, and a light dusting of crushed pecans. Delicious, light, and melt-in-your-mouth good. We followed that up with Easier Cranberry Puffs, delicious raspberry- and cream cheese-filled wontons that, with the added jalapeno and red curry powder, had just the right amount of kick! We substituted the cranberries with fresh raspberries we purchased at the Mill City Farmers’ Market. For the final tapa, Raelee created Butterfly Chili Lime Prawn Spedini with Raspberry Dipping Sauce: beautifully butterflied prawns with a fun citrus and spice twist.
