ابن حاكم قطر – يشتري اغلى سيارة بالعالم

اشترى الأمير جوعان بن حمد، أحد أبناء أمير قطر الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني أغلى سيارة في العالم ليصبح بذلك أول عميل يشتري سيارة من طراز “لايكن هايبر سبورت”، ولون السيارة التي سيشتريها أسود .. وتتميز السيارة التي تعد أول سيارة عربية فارهة من إنتاج شركة “دبليو موتورز” اللبنانية، بالتعاون مع شركات عالمية، بأن كشافاتها مرصعة بالألماس، وأغطية الصالون مخيطة بالذهب، وستباع بقيمة 3.5 مليون دولار أمريكي .. وتعد هذه السيارة التي تم كشف النقاب عنها في أول أيام “معرض قطر الدولي للسيارات” في دورته الثالثة، واحدة من بين سبع سيارات فقط تم تصنيعها لهذا العام. وستصبح السيارة الأعلى سعراً في العالم، متفوقة على السيارة «بوغاتي فيرون» التي يصل سعرها إلى 2.3 مليون دولار.

Windsurfing in Ireland – Mission 1 – Red Bull Storm Chase 2013

10 of the world’s best windsurfers from eight countries completed a demanding competition in Kerry, Ireland during the first mission of the Red Bull Storm Chase – the most-challenging windsurfing contest of all time.

Despite recorded storm-force gusts of up to 74 knots (137kmh) and fierce 20-ft waves, the sailors completed three rounds of competition in two locations on the Maharees peninsular.

After possibly the most radical day in windsurfing history, Marcilio Browne, Dany Bruch, Victor Fernandez, Robby Swift, Julien Taboulet and Thomas Traversa advance to Mission 2 of Red Bull Storm Chase.

Third Light’s the Charm: Behind the Webb

Before light from the universe reaches Webb’s cameras and science instruments, it will reflect off four different mirrors — the primary, secondary, tertiary and fine-steering mirrors. The light’s third stop along its zigzagging path is the tertiary mirror, housed within the Aft Optics Subsystem at the center of Webb’s 21-foot primary mirror. Mary Estacion visits Ball Aerospace in Boulder, Colorado, to learn about the tertiary mirror’s role and to see how the mirror’s optics are being tested.
