Fancy Pants Vlog

Watch Last Call with Carson Daly at 1:35am tonight on NBC (that’s the night of May 4th, the early, early morning of May 5th.

For you geeks, we’re shooting with the Panasonic Lumix GH1 with an adaptor and a Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 II. It’s a very cheap lens ($100).

With the adaptor, we have to leave the lens all the way open (1.8), and it’s a prime lens, so no zoom. Because the lens wasn’t made to work with the Lumix, there’s no stabilization feature, hence the shaky shot. We need to get a cinema rig to do good handheld stuff. Until then, we’ll just use a tripod!
