Has it ever been a better time to be an online gamer? Seriously, the world has so many MMORPGs and first person shooters to choose from that it sometimes feels like we’re all living in our 11-year old self’s dreamworld. I think now would be a perfect time to look back at the history that got us here.

For starters, there were several gaming innovations of the 1970’s that built the foundation for the industry we all love today. From there, the technology slowly built until the 90’s came along and the entire industry exploded about a hundred times over. Things didn’t seem like they could get any bigger. Then they did.

Once Halo entered the picture, online gaming went from a niche activity to something everyone in the world wanted to do all the freakin’ time! This led to all of the franchises we love competing with one another for server dominance! It also led to MMORPG innovations like World of Warcraft which exploded its own genre.

That leads us to today where we have everything from Fortnite to Among Us to play. These games are on your computer, your console, and even your phone. It truly is a golden age of online play. Which makes all the controversies even sadder. Big companies like Bethesda, Square Enix and Bioware have all produced some of the biggest flops ever in this generation. Despite all that, the future still looks brighter than ever!

Xbox series x is winning the race right now, and smoking PS5’s exclusives. Some of the major reasons are xbox investing in their own exclusives, price, backwards compatibility, and a whole lot more!

Could the XBox Series X be the superior console? SOme preliminary user testing, recent Microsoft acquisitions, and a potential deal with tech giant Apple for Apple TV could push Microsoft into pole position in the much coveted console units sold category. In this video we’ll talk about the experience some testers had playing old games like Hitman 2, and how the Series X’s tech shone brightly in side by side comparisons with the XBox One. It was the first time we’ve seen regular folks interact with the new machine and they, and in turn, we, were quite impressed. Although Sony is releasing some remasters like PS4’s Spider-Man, XBox could be making a lot of its past generation games look like remasters without its buyers having to reopen their wallets.

We’ll also talk about the potential for new XBox exclusives down the line, as Microsoft didn’t purchase Zenimax Media Inc. and all its subsidiaries just because it could. It must be scheming of how it can get a greater stranglehold on the market and make I.d. Software titles like the well loved Doom into an XBox and PC exclusive. Elder Scrolls addicts will have no choice but make the switch to XBox down the lines if they do what we suspect they will do.

We’ll also be talking about the HDR10 technology and Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision technology, and how it will be a difference players will see and hear when gaming on the Series X.

We all know that technology is becoming an increasingly important factor in the world and is influencing how we go about our daily lives. Sports is one of the biggest industries to be affected by software and AI which harvest data to collect stats for players as well as the people watching. Esports is no exception. In fact, AI and software even have a bigger influence on Esports than they do in any other type of sporting world. So much so, that there is an argument that AI could effectively take over Esports in the near future.

In this video we will take a look into this argument and how exactly AI is shaping the sports right now and why it is so pivotal to Esports. This can include optimizing player performance, providing key strategies and plans as well as engaging with fans, AI has a huge impact on the Esports world. But it’s also a little bit of a symbiotic relationship, with AI relying on Esports more than you’d think…
