Jimmy Kimmel & Guillermo Pitch Cartoons to The New Yorker

When Jimmy was a kid, living in Mill Basin, he wanted to be an artist, specifically to draw comics and cartoons. That didn’t come to pass, obviously, but since we are here in New York Jimmy thought it might be fun to see if he could get a cartoon published in The New Yorker. So Jimmy and Guillermo came up with ideas to pitch to the magazine. To decide if Jimmy’s comic was chosen, we invited the decision makers at The New Yorker – Cartoon Editor Emma Allen and Editor David Remnick, to reveal their final decision. Yankees Fans Congratulate the Astros

Jimmy Kimmel Surprises New Yorkers in a Cab

For many years, Jimmy has been appearing in the back of most New York City Taxi Cabs. You get in the cab, a video from our show pops up, and you’re forced to watch it.
