Ever wonder what Batman would be like if he was inspired by a different animal? Caldwell and Nathan did and then they drew some stuff while also managing to further demonstrate how little they know about biology. Turns out squids ARE mollusks, specifically cephalopods. Who knew? Not us!

Scott Snyder and Jim Lee’s Superman Unchained concludes in breathtaking fashion in today’s Superman Unchained #9. To celebrate this landmark comic, Tiffany sat in on Jim’s creative meeting with Scott where they first discussed the issue’s wraparound cover. We followed that up with an insightful discussion with colorist Alex Sinclair about what it’s like putting the finishing touches on a comic cover masterpiece.
