10 Things Marvel Does That DC Would Never Do

Did we miss any major differences between Marvel and DC movies? Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

There’s a lot going on in the world today but the biggest question on everyone’s mind is: Marvel or DC? We all have an opinion and you can tell someone’s general movie preferences by their answer. But still, you should judge a person by the content of their character, not over whether they prefer Captain America: Civil War to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice; people can bent out of shape over the most trivial arguments.

The one thing we can all agree on in this era where superhero movies are being released every 2-3 months is that Marvel and DC are putting out two very different franchises. So join ScreenRant as we define these 10 things Marvel does that DC would never do.

So what does Marvel have that DC doesn’t? Some would argue Marvel Studios has all the resources Warner Brothers won’t give to DC’s properties. Marvel has a larger roster of popular characters to choose from and because of this proven track record they’re able to take more storytelling risks. With a multitude of bankable characters to choose from, they’re able to play with different styles, experiment with audience’s anticipations, build up to big climaxes for their superhero teams and allow for more exciting crossovers. Marvel has no problem playing up on the comedy, allowing actors to improvise on set and create several humorous moments. Whether you agree or disagree – watch the video and let us know what YOU think! It’s a big world out there, but is it big enough for both Marvel AND DC?

25 Gorgeous Stunt Doubles Who Put The Actors To Shame

25 of Hollywood’s hottest stunt doubles who outshine the actors they stand in for! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

Stunt doubles risk their lives for the actors they work with, often making the coolest scenes of a film come to life! However, these adrenaline loving athletic superstars often don’t get recognized for the incredible work they do. Though they are on-camera, they always are there to make the actor look cool as ever. But these stunt doubles are often just as gorgeous and talented as the celebrities they represent.

From The Rock to Emma Stone and Margot Robbie to Zac Efron, all actors need doubles. The Rock may do a lot of his own stunts, but he actually reaches out to his own family to get some of the tougher stunts done. Brie Larson had Joanna Bennett keep her safe on “Captain Marvel,” while Tom Hardy used his main stuntman Jacob Tomuri in “Venom.” Seeing behind the scenes shots showcases how much these stunts actors will do to get the job done even though they get little credit for the action. Who does Lily Collins, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Gosling, Gal Gadot, Mila Kunis, and Brad Pitt work alongside? And the surprise stunt person who helps stunt legend Tom Cruise out in “Mission: Impossible Fallout”? Ingrid Kleinig, Paul Darnell and Maja Aro are just a few of the amazing stunt talents we’ll show you.

Want to find out all the cool, kickass doubles that jump from buildings and race cars for the stars they team up with? Watch this Screen Rant video to see all the coolest stunt people slicing up the screens in Hollywood…one flip at a time!

Hook is a 1991 American fantasy adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg[3] and written by James V. Hart and Malia Scotch Marmo. It stars Robin Williams as Peter Banning / Peter Pan, Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook, Julia Roberts as Tinker Bell, Bob Hoskins as Smee, Maggie Smith as Wendy, Caroline Goodall as Moira Banning, and Charlie Korsmo as Jack Banning. It acts as a sequel to J. M. Barrie’s 1911 novel Peter and Wendy focusing on an adult Peter Pan who has forgotten all about his childhood. In his new life, he is known as Peter Banning, a successful but unimaginative and workaholic corporate lawyer with a wife (Wendy’s granddaughter) and two children. However, when Captain Hook, the enemy of his past, kidnaps his children, he returns to Neverland in order to save them. Along the journey he reclaims the memories of his past and becomes a better person.

The Dark Truth About Hotel Transylvania 3

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation has some dark moments you might not have spotted! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

For a trilogy of movies about monsters, the Hotel Transylvania movies are pretty fun and light-hearted. Even with all of the goofy moments, the films still manage to deliver a lot of dark moments and ideas which may go right over children’s heads. For Hotel Transylvania 3, Dracula and his family head out on a summer vacation aboard a cruise ship.

The film is filled with a lot of goofy moments while out to sea, but look a little deeper to discover exactly what makes the third film so dark. While on the cruise ship, the characters are greeted and taken care of by fish. But the more we see these fish on-screen, the more questions we have about them. The ship itself is also modeled after one of the biggest disasters in boating history — even spoofing movie posters and other parts of movie Titanic. Before even arriving on the cruise ship, the characters encounter Gremlins Air, a dark reference to a couple of classic and creepy horror films. Many Hotel Transylvania films revolve around discovering who the true monsters really are. In the third movie, the message is clear — humans have misunderstood monsters for years and projected their own feelings on them. One of the main locations in the film is the Bermuda Triangle — a location known for some pretty horrible real-life disasters and mess-ups. Watch to see all these dark moments and how they appeared on the big screen for Hotel Transylvania 3. Each moment features some pretty dark observations about the light-hearted family film.

25 Scenes Pixar Stole From Other Movies

Pixar has drawn inspiration from a whole bunch of blockbuster movies! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

Pixar is known for its amazing animation, hilarious characters, and heart wrenching stories, but what you may not know is that it does movie references better than just about anyone. They pack their movies full of call backs and recreations and straight up copies of some of the most famous movies ever made, and even if you don’t notice them at first, they blow you away when you do. In the Toy Story movies, there was Star Wars: A New Hope and Darth Vader’s trademark breathing, a hilarious Total Recall moment from Buzz, the iconic boulder scene from Raiders of the Lost Arc, a disturbing arcade game based off of Alien, a Vertigo remake that is visually amazing, a 2001: A Space Odyssey throwback, Return of The Jedi’s alien periscope, The Empire Strikes Back’s famous climax, and a Mission Impossible moment that you can’t miss. In Monsters Inc it’s a classic cool slow motion walk from The Right Stuff, and Finding Nemo has Kramer VS Kramer, The Shining, and The Birds going for it. In The Incredibles, it’s a Citizen Kane montage that is almost identical, and in Ratatouille an introduction worthy of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, as well as a Rocky moment later on. There’s Blade Runner, E.T, another shot at A New Hope, another look at 2001, a throwback to The Lost World, King Kong, and The Wizard of Oz, with a hilarious line from Chinatown and a disappearing moment from Back To The Future, and everything in between.
