Pixar feels like a never-ending animation machine, churning out movie after movie at an impressive rate. Starting with Toy Story and continuing on with hits like Inside/Out, what else is next for the production company?! Well, we can tell you what’s NOT going to be made. As a story develops and animation begins, there are many moments and ideas that get completely cut. Had these ideas gone forward, you would be watching some VERY different Pixar movies — and different stories all together. The whole future of the company may have been completely different if some of these ideas moved forward!

See how Inside/Out would have been completely different if there were more characters included. Witness how Pixar nearly ventured into both live-action and stop-motion animation. See how the early days of Pixar attempted to combine traditional animation with CG creations. See how the whole narrative flow of Toy Story 3 would have been completely different if some changes were made. Cars is known for its high-speed racing and the title character Lightning McQueen. Imagine if the racer was replaced with a little yellow electric car driving around?! How dark can Pixar go? Well, we would have found out if we got the chance to see the scrapped movie entitled The Shadow King. Do you love the Minions? Well, we almost got our own Pixar version of the character featuring a collection of blobs who spoke gibberish.
