Most gamers want to take their time while playing through a video game in order to take in everything the developers have to offer. They take pride in finding all of the loot, secret levels, and side missions in order to play the game to completion and unlock all of the achievements. Being able to fully complete a game is a source of pride to most gamers and an impressive feat as numerous hours are dedicated to unlocking every single feature.

On the other hand, there are some gamers that prefer to rush through levels or entire games to see just how fast they can compete a level or game. These speed runs are regularly posted on YouTube and Twitch for other gamers to see and possibly break the records these gamers have set. Speed running appears to be quite the competitive hobby and it has a large following. Gamers who speedrun typically have a plethora of tricks that they exploit in order to complete their speed runs in record time. These range from utilizing glitches or game secrets in order to outrun the competition and set records.

However, in spite of most gamers best intentions, speed runs do not always go as planned. Anything from missing an opportunity to starting out poorly can affect how the speed run will turn out. Fortunately, most speed runs are recorded and this creates some memorable laughs for the people watching. It just goes to show that even with the best intentions, gameplay doesn’t always turn out as planned.

Episode 17 – Ras Al Ghoul Series | الحلقة السابعة عشر – مسلسل راس الغول
تدور احداث المسلسل في اطار درامي كوميدي ملئ بالإثارة والتشويق والاكشن حول شخص يدعى “فضل الغول”، الذى يقع فى يده جهاز لوحي مسروق يخص وزيرة الصحة، وأثناء محاولة إعادة الجهاز لها يتورط فى سلسلة متشابكة من العقبات بسبب محتوى سرى على الجهاز، وخلال محاولة هروبه يواجه الكثير من مشاكل ماضيه الغامض و تتوالى الاحداث.

تدور أحداث المسلسل في إطار درامي كوميدي، مليء بالإثارة والتشويق حول شخص يٌدعى (درويش عبدربه) الذي كان عضو في جماعة إرهابية واشترك في قتل السادات، وتم القبض عليه ولكنه هرب واختفي، ثم عمل بائع أجهزة الكترونية مع أحد الاشخاص، وإذا بمفارقة تحدث تجعله متهم بمحاولة اغتيال وزيرة الصحة، فيحاول إثبات براءته بكل الطرق في الوقت الذي تحاول فيه قوات الأمن محاولة القبض علي درويش.

The King of Kong documentary has proved to us video game scores, and mullets, are very serious business. We all strive to be the best; it’s actually hardwired in our animal nature to be the best we can be at everything. Whether you are trying to top the leaderboard of your favourite multiplayer game, trying to complete a speedrun or simply playing for bragging rights against a friend, we have all tried to best our fellow gamers at one point or another. There are so many gamers who try to set new video game-related records it is difficult to keep up with everything sometimes.

You can play Tetris until your thumbs are as thick as your neck and never even come close to the highest score, but hopefully you’ll have a fun time trying. If trying to get your name etched into the gaming history books, or the Guinness book of World Records in some cases, is your thing, you better be prepared. It’ll take more than Mountain Dew and Doritos to get through this gameplay session. You are going to have to spend hundreds of hours in front of a TV screen mastering the ins and outs of the game of your choice and there may not be any reward for all of your troubles. Sounds great doesn’t it?
