While the unenlightened may hear “battle station” and think of some command console on a fighting vessel, true gamers know that a battle station is where your most heroic fights, your most death-defying feats, and your most incredible accomplishments all take place, gamepad in hand.
Most of us would be lucky to have a couch and a big screen TV to game on, but for those with the means, a gamer station can take on a truly epic scale and scope. Flashing LED lights, curved glowing monitors, and dozens of surround-sound speakers are the hallmark of a gaming enthusiast’s crib.
On the other side of the spectrum, we have the less fortunate gamer who ekes out a meager thrill on whatever they can scrounge up. Despite these battle stations’ shoddy appearances we must always give them our respect, for the call of games hearkens to every man, woman, and in between, and not all of them have the financial support to play on the most cutting edge technology available.

Having been on the air since way back in 1989 (almost thirty years!), The Simpsons has developed an army of devoted fans around the world.
Millions of them still tune in religiously to watch the brilliant animated sitcom – and while some people might argue its lost some of its charm and isn’t quite as funny as it used to be, the fact is that it’s still as popular as ever.
As with any loyal fan-base, Simpsons lovers enjoy coming up with theories about their favourite show and the characters who appear in it – and that’s what this video is all about.
We’re going to take you through ten Simpsons fan theories that are so crazy they just might be true!
The theories in question are; some explanations regarding why the characters in the show never age, that all the Simpsons family members are actually geniuses, that Homer is actually in a coma, that Homer is actually very rich, that there are multiple molemen in the show, that Maude Flanders was a sociopath who hated her husband, that the show can predict the future, that Moe is fully aware that it’s Bart who prank calls his bar, that Springfield exists outside of time and space, and that the state Springfield is located in is actually Maine.

Many countries have various reasons why they decide to ban games. Some of the games on this list seem pretty light, but governments always find a way to make a mountain out of a molehill and we can’t say we’re surprised. Subscribe to The Gamer: https://goo.gl/9cpWgf
There are a number of reasons games should be banned like excessive violence, nudity or offensive language, but we feel even the best reason for a ban should have an explanation. We’re also not certain the government should be in charge of banning games because sometimes they do it for silly reasons. We can see where game ratings come in to help eliminate children from getting their hands on games not suitable for them, but should adults have restrictions on video games too?
No matter which side of the coin you’re on in politics, sometimes the government thinks they have their citizens’ best interest at heart. And sometimes, it feels like they’re eliminating the freedom of choice when they ban games. Harmless games like EA Sports MMA which had one scene showing a pair of pants with an energy drink supplier was banned by Denmark. The country outlawed marketing of energy drinks, which included through video games as well, and neither EA or Denmark budged which meant the game was outright banned and not accessible to the country. Talk about taking stubbornness to a new extreme. Even Football Manager 2005 had a whole myriad of problems, but China banned the game for showing Tibet and Taiwan as independent countries. It’s okay, they also banned Pokemon Go for security concerns and Command and Conquer: Generals for showing their military in a negative light. The gaming companies need to stop bringing dishonor and getting outright banned in the country.
Then again, it seems pretty impossible to make everyone happy and there are a lot of rules which apply to video games in other countries. Join us as we take a look at these harmless games that were banned around the world!

There has long been a literary theory that there are only seven basic plots, and that does explain why there are so many films with similar stories. Sometimes though, these similarities pass this point, and it becomes pretty reasonable to say that the plots have been stolen, or at the very least heavily inspired by something else. We do think that the word stolen can come across a bit too strong for a few of these, so we’re going to look at it as ‘taken’ and ‘inspired by’, as at Screen Rant we take a look at ten animated films that stole their plots.
Inside Out is currently the focus of a lawsuit, after Denise Daniels claimed they took the idea from a pilot she pitched them based on her characters The Moodsters. That isn’t the only time that Disney has come under fire though, as they also had a lawsuit filed against them for stealing the idea behind Zootopia.
As well as this, we take a look at how Antz and A Bug’s Life came to be due to a lot of competition and sour feeling between Disney and DreamWorks.
We also look at a couple of ‘mockbuster’ movies, like Chop Kick Panda and Tappy Toes, which were produced to get in on the success of Kung Fu Panda and Happy Feet.
There are also a couple of animated movies which took their inspiration from films and comic books aimed at adults, such as Cars, The Incredibles and Wreck-It Ralph, which are inspired by Doc Hollywood, Watchmen, and, would you believe it, Taxi Driver.
