The movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are all fantastically performed by a very large and hugely talented cast of A-list actors.

Such is the level of talent on display in the franchise, the people behind the movies often allow those actors to express themselves completely freely on set, without asking them to stick to a formal script.

In this video, we’ll run you through some of the best examples of improvisation that have occurred in MCU movies.

The scenes in question are; the post-credits scene of 2008’s The Incredible Hulk when Tony Stark approached General Ross in a bar, Peggy Carter’s reaction to the newly Super-Soldier-Serum-imbued Steve Rogers in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, Tony Stark offering out blueberries in 2012’s The Avengers, Tony Stark suggesting the titular team go for shawarma in that same movie, Thor hanging his war hammer Mjolnir on Erik Selvig’s coat rack in 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, Star-Lord’s reaction to Korath never having heard of him in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor telling the audience that the Hulk was “a friend from work” in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, Tony Stark telling Peter Parker that “the adults are talking” in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, Drax asking “why is Gamora?” in that same movie, and Peter Parker’s emotional death scene in that same movie.

Just when you thought Minecraft couldn’t get any better, the developers go and release the Update Aquatic. The update completely overhauls the underwater component of Minecraft and changes the way players will get to explore various worlds and creations. Learn about some of the great secrets and what new areas you can explore while playing.

One of the coolest new mobs found in the update are dolphins. With dolphins, you can interact with them, they will follow boats around and lead you to all types of new locations. Turtles are another popular animal to explore in the world. Follow the whole lifecycle of a turtle as they become born and migrate from the beach to the water. There are multiple ways to breathe underwater and, if you’re in survival mode, the pufferfish may become your new best friend. For many players, underwater gardening may become a new hobby with so much plant life and coral reef options to explore. One plant that may be small is the sea pickle, but there are multiple ways to take advantage of the silly-sounding plant species. Battles will completely change with the use of a trident as players learn to throw or attack using the powerful weapon. A lot of treasure is now buried underwater and there are multiple ways to discover hidden treasure maps. Explore enough and you may find a way to discover the heart of the sea! After 14 years, an Incredibles sequel is finally here. It was great to catch up with Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet, Frozone and especially Jack Jack. Incredibles 2 had some amazing action, incredible VFX and some pretty hilarious moments. But since this is Hollywood and nothing is perfect, there were also a couple of things about it that didn’t make too much sense. Like what was up with Winston and Elevyn Deavor? How come the movie had pretty much the same premise as the first one? Why did they just re-do Violet’s arc from the first movie, and what’s up with Dash and buttons? Let’s step inside the pitch meeting that started it all! It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience!

Advancements in CG technology has not only changed the way action, aliens, and digital effects are created, but CG is now used for a lot of subtle moments in our favorite movies. No longer does an actor need to go through a full make-up and prosthetic process for certain special effects. Thanks for post-production work, nearly anything can be done, including a lot of subtle moments featuring various characters. Watch to see how actors have been edited and changed for a variety of movies including some huge blockbuster hits.

Pee-Wee Herman actor Paul Rubens was well past his prime when Netflix announced the film “Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday”. To help keep him the same age, multiple techniques were used to remove wrinkles and make his face feel younger again. Jessica Alba has a no-nude policy for her films and she stuck with it for the movie Machete where her body was digitally recreated using Cg technology. Wesley Snipes butted heads with David S. Goyer on Blade: Trinity so bad that special CG was needed just to create a dramatic shot featuring the hero. Dr. Manhattan was fully nude in Watchmen and a lot of attention was focused on a body part which needed to match in every scene it appeared in. Nicolas Cage is a huge Ghost Rider fan, but his fandom forced a few key changes and CG effects for both Ghost Rider movies. Dakota Johnson wore some cover ups while filming 50 Shades of Grey and the CG artists had to get a little creative when rendering some special hair.
