If we know anything about Pixar animators, it’s that they are amazing at what they do, they are on the cutting edge of the latest technology innovations, and they absolutely love to hide secret puns and moments in the backgrounds of almost all of their movies. From inside jokes they put in for themselves, to references to past and future movies, these animators are amazing at filling their worlds with hidden gems for us to find. These moments have to be paused and zoomed in to be believed, but they are oh-so satisfying when you do! From the a Mike Wazowski cameo in Frozen, to sneaking in the titles of Pixar Animated Shorts into the background of Toy Story, and putting up a poster of The Lion King on Broadway into Bug City in A Bug’s Life. There’s a years-early preview of Nemo in Monsters INC, and a sneak peek of Rex from Toy Story hidden in Wall-E’s home. A terrified child reads an Incredibles comic book in the dentist’s office of Finding Nemo, and some amazingly clever movie titles at the Drive-In in Cars and Cars 2. From a glimpse of Sid’s future in Toy Story 3, and some creepy crawly cameos in Toy Story 2, to Elasticgirl breaking in her new costume in The Incredibles, these hidden gems are everywhere. We definitely recommend going back through your favourite Pixar movies and checking these moments out, and maybe you’ll find even more that snuck their way past us.

Over the last few years, the world of cosplay has only grown and become more popular. Along with superheroes and movies, there have been a lot of crazy cosplay designs in the world of gaming and specifically Nintendo. Nintendo is known for several different franchises including Super Mario Bros., Pokemon and Donkey Kong Country. See some of the craziest designs used for video game conventions and a lot of other events held all over the world!

Bowser is Mario’s main nemesis, but fans cannot get enough of dressing like him. The character is a tough one to duplicate, but fans have created extremely accurately portrayals of the monster. One of the most popular Pokemon in the whole world is Pikachu. People love dressing up like the yellow monster and have done it in a number of surprising ways. Star Fox is a little like Rocket Raccoon and fans love dressing up as him along with the rest of his space crew. Link may seem like a simple costume, but there are ton of details that must go into the creation of the hero. Donkey Kong is another giant beast who is a hard costume to create. A full-body Donkey Kong will stand out at any special event and is one of the most memorable costumes you will want to see. Mewtwo is one of the rarest Pokemon and probably one of the rarest Pokemon cosplays because his costume can be really complicated. Watch to see all these crazy cosplay designs and the ways they’ve stood out over the years!

Whenever a new superhero is announced to appear in any given comic book movie franchise, a host of A-list names are always immediately linked to the role – and it was no different in the case of Captain Marvel AKA Marvel’s Carol Danvers.

Of course, the role ultimately went to Oscar winner Brie Larson – and her eagerly-anticipated MCU movie will arrive on the big screen in 2019 – but it could have gone to any number of actresses, according to the rumour mill.

These five, however, seemed to come genuinely close to winning the role (and indeed could have, if the circumstances had been slightly different) – if the rumour mill is to be believed, that is.

The actresses in question are as follows; Jessica Chastain (The Help, Zero Dark Thirty, Interstellar, The Martian), Bryce Dallas Howard (Lady in the Water, Spider-Man 3, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Jurassic World), Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck, Dexter, 24: Live Another Day, The Handmaid’s Tale), Charlize Theron (The Cider House Rules, Monster, Hancock, Mad Max: Fury Road), and Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow, Sicario, The Girl on the Train, A Quiet Place). Which one do you think would have been best-suited for the role of Captain Marvel? Would you have preferred any of them to Brie Larson?
