The Commodore Amiga was a computer released by Commodore International in 1985. The Amiga 2000 is an upgraded version of it from 1985 that, as you probably guessed from the title, originally sold for just under $1,500! And that’s for one that DIDN’T include a monitor!
The Amiga lived an odd life. From birthing a popular demo scene that would forever change the gaming world to killing the company that made it to oddly finding massive success in Europe, this was a machine that was supposed to beat out both the Atari ST and the original Macintosh. It’s an odd machine, but one definitely worth remembering.
