Microsoft’s earliest days of gaming began on a computer and then quickly transferred to the world of consoles back in 2001. The first Xbox would change the gaming world forever and Microsoft began leading the charge with all kinds of exclusive titles including Halo, Forza Motorsports and a variety of other games. Despite a massive clunky controller, the console was a huge hit, impacting both Nintendo and Sega sales at the time. The Xbox relied on advanced technology at the time and have only improved on graphics and performance over the years.
Microsoft had to follow their console up and did so with the Xbox 360, a revolutionary console that was up against rivals like the PS3. The Xbox 360 also introduced the Kinect motion device, a hands-free way to play that would help rival the innovative motion controls featured on the Nintendo Wii.
