Coronavirus: Some Britons allowed to leave Tenerife hotel

For almost a week 700 people have been quarantined inside a hotel in Tenerife – after four guests tested positive for COVID-19.

130 of them – who arrived after those infected went to hospital were told they could leave – among them around 50 British guests.

UK prepared to ditch EU trade talks in June

Brexit might be “done” – in the literal sense – but the battle over Britain’s future relationship with the EU is anything but.

Boris Johnson has threatened to walk away from talks in the summer if a deal isn’t close as the government published its outline for those talks – rejecting the European Union’s desire for UK alignment over regulations.
