If you played video games at all in the first half of the 2000’s, then chances are that you’ll have played them on a PlayStation 2. But, despite their ubiquity, there are still some things that you may not have known about the PS2. And, today, we are going to tell you about them.

If you owned a PS2, then there’s a good chance that you might have used it to watch a DVD. But did you know that it helped revolutionize that part of home entertainment? We’ll tell you about that today, as well as the design feature which made the system really stand out. Not only that, but we’ll tell you how its design helped keep a long forgotten idea, and a company that had seen far better days, in the public consciousness of gamers across the world. You’ll also see how the PS2 was able to deliver high-definition graphics, even if there weren’t many games that highlighted HD.

If you’ve ever wondered whether the PS2 could keep track of the games you’ve played, the answer is yes, it can, and we’ll tell you how you can tell. Children love a good animated film that stirs their creativity and pushes their imagination to even greater depths. But what happens when kids films push the boundaries too far? Of course, parents love when Disney and Pixar throw in some adult humor their little ones won’t pick up on, but then there’s just plain over the top. We’re talking Minions grinding up on each other, skeleton animals, violence, sexuality, or subjects that may push the boundaries for youngins.

Tom Selick and Tim Burton are known for pairing up and making creepy children’s films that often go too far. Movies that illicit nightmares and shadows in the dark. “James and the Giant Peach” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” did just that, but what were the specific moments that may have gone too far? Not to mention the mother who steals eyes and souls from children in “Coraline”…we mean, is that really a kids type vibe? What about the Disney film where a baby witness his mother being killed, or “Up” where the poor old man has to live his life after his one true love dies? Spike Jonze made an adult film that was marketed for children in “Where The Wild Things Are” and Dreamworks “Antz” really needed a profanity check…there’s even a compilation of all the swear words. That isn’t even mentioning the full-on war in that film.

All these over the top moments that are definitely too much for children will be revealed in this video. We’ll show you what crazy and absurd films are out there and why they may be too much for little hearts and brains. Now let’s go and see all these shockingly overt kids film! Ain’t nothing like dealing with a child with nightmares…thank you, Burton.
