A good piece of advice for aspiring filmmakers is to shoot more footage than you need. Editing can be tricky, and sometimes what worked on the page doesn’t on-screen. That’s why films frequently have numerous deleted scenes, many of which simply would have padded the running time if they remained in the final cut. But some sequences are harder to cut than others since they can be important to the overall story or the characters. When fans look back at some of these, they may be wondering why the director decided against having them in the film. Here are deleted scenes that would have made the movie way better.
