Mario Kart has been arguably the most successful spinoff series in video game history. Who knew something as simple as go karting with Mario characters would have turned into such a success? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the latest installment for the Nintendo Switch and is the most polished Mario Kart game to date. It is pretty much a souped up Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, but it adds a battle mode reminiscent of the one from Mario Kart 64. If you don’t have Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, it’s worth buying a Nintendo Switch just to play the game.
