Some are rebuffed – like the supposed “ghost child” on the set of Three Men and a Baby turning out to be a cardboard cut-out of Ted Danson – while others remain a mystery.In some cases, mysterious events happening on and around movie sets have led people to believe that the sets in question were actually cursed. Strange occurrences, freak accidents and even, in some cases, the deaths of crew and cast members, have resulted in such conclusions.It’s an often tragic topic, but it’s certainly an interesting one – and it’s what this video is all about. From the creators of The Art of FLIGHT, Red Bull Media House presents The Fourth Phase, a snowboarding epic starring iconic athlete Travis Rice.

While exploring the untapped backcountry of his native Wyoming, Rice plots a 16,000 mile course to follow the hydrological cycle around the North Pacific, where snow and ice create dreamlike landscapes on the towering mountains above.

From the Japanese Alps to the volcanoes of Russia, and a spectacularly remote area of Alaska, Rice is joined by several of snowboarding’s most innovative riders including Mark Landvik, Eric Jackson, Bryan Iguchi, Pat Moore, Mikkel Bang, Jeremy Jones, Victor de Le Rue, Ben Ferguson, and more.

At its core, “The Fourth Phase” features incredible snowboarding, but also tells an emotional human story. Because GoPro cameras were utilized throughout the filming of the movie, GoPro will be releasing more content closer to the world premier. This content will lend an insider perspective into Travis’ mind as he follows the North Pacific’s storm cycle to epic terrain.
