Photographing America’s Wounded Soldiers in Iraq – Nat Geo Live

Can the public handle seeing photos of wounded American soldiers? In 2004 photojournalist Lynsey Addario took an assignment with a major U.S. magazine photographing wounded Americans coming out of Fallujah. But the magazine deemed the images too disturbing for publication and informed Addario that the photos would not be published.

واحد من أشهر المغنين فى العالم ولد فى جامايكا وكان يملك موهبة كبيرة فهو يكتب الكلمات بنفسه ويلحنها ثم يغنيها مع فرقته
وقد أشتهر بأغانية المتمرده على الظلم وتسعى إلى العدالة والحرية والسلام وإستطاع أن يجذب من حوله الملايين من المعجبين
ومن أقوله التى اشتهر بها بين أصدقائه ( أننى سوف أموت فى عمر 36 عام ) وعندما سأله أصدقائه المقربين عن سبب هذه المقوله قال لأن يسوع توفى عن عمر 36 عام وبالفعل توفى ( بوب مارلى ) عن عمر 36 عام بعد أصابته بنوع من سرطان الجلد الذي نما تحت أظفر إصبعه , ولزم بتر الطرف المصاب لكن بسبب معتقداته الدينية رفض آن يبتر أي عضو من جسده تجاهل المرض مما أدى إلى إنتشاره في كافة أنحاء جسده وتوفى على أثره

مارك توين Mark Twain

هو كاتب أمريكي ساخر ولد فى عام 1835 له العديد من الروايات التى صنفت من أفضل الأعمال الأدبية فى العالم وكان صديقاً للعديد من الرؤساء والفنانين ورجال الصناعة وأفراد الأسر المالكة الأوروبية
قال ( توين ) ذات يوم: ” لقد جئت إلى هذا العالم مع مذنب هالي عام 1835وها هو قادم مرة أخرى للعالم فى العام القادم وأنا أتوقع أن أذهب معه
ولقد صدقت نبوءته إذ توفي توين بأزمة في الثاني من أبريل 1910 بعد يوم واحد فقط من أقتراب المذنب من الأرض
