توضيح: لم يستطع إعداد الطعام لنفسه بسبب حالته الصحية التي كانت متدهورة، أجريت عدة محاولات لإنقاذه لكن حالة الرهاب كانت تزداد سوء، إلى أن توفى و وزنه حوالي 65 باوند – 30 كيلوجرام و كتب في تقرير وفاته عام 1978 “وفاة بسبب الجوع وسوء التغذية لوجود إضطراب في الشخصية – malnutrition and inanition caused by personality disturbance”.
