After such a radical redesign in 2011, Hyundai takes its successful Sonata and adds a touch of refinement, luxury, and technology. The company also promises improved driving dynamics and a fuel-efficient new ECO model as the fuel economy leader, at least until the Hybrid returns. Were the changes enough to address our previous shortcomings with the old model?

Joaquin Phoenix stars in this adaptation of a Thomas Pynchon novel, along with Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, and Reese Witherspoon. But it’s the director, Paul Thomas Anderson (of Boogie Nights, Magnolia, There Will Be Blood, and The Master) that is at the center of a lot of the awards chatter.
