Mystery Female-led Superhero Movie Coming… From Sony!?! – CineFix Now

A big chunk of the Internet has been waiting for the announcement of the first big female-led superhero movie. Everyone was looking to Marvel/Disney and DC/Warner Bros, but this week, SONY announced they were stepping up to the plate. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9AGRm

Seems that Sony has found itself with a hole in its release schedule after pushing Amazing Spider-Man 3 back to 2018, and they’re planning to slide a film starring an as-yet-unnamed MYSTERY superhero-woman into the newly freed space in 2017.

Cue the speculation! Sony’s only got the rights to the Spider-Man corner of the Marvel Universe, so options seem to be: Spider-Woman, Silver Sable, Stunner or Black Cat. Smart money’s on Black Cat, as her alter ego, Felicia Hardy, was named as Harry Osborne’s assistant in Amazing Spider-Man 2.

52 of the world’s top wingsuit flyers descended on Oakdale, California, two hours east of San Francisco, for Red Bull Aces, the first-ever side-by-side wingsuit racing event.

Created by Red Bull Air Force pilot Luke Aikins, Red Bull Aces was split into a series of elimination heats of four wingsuit flyers, who were transported by plane up to 8,000 feet. From there, they jumped and flew through four gates, staggered at thousand-foot intervals between 6,500-3,500 feet.
