Barcelona, with its rich skateboarding history and global resonance, is the place where the Skate Arcade World Champion was decided. The event itself is split into three ‘levels’. The 17 qualified skaters will first battle at the iconic MACBA museum in the bustling Raval district. Only 15 will clear the level and progress to round 2, at the Moll de la Fusta seafront. From this eliminator bonus round, only 5 players can make it to the final level. The last level will be played out, appropriately, in the stunning venue of the Tibidabo amusement park overlooking historic Barcelona. Where better than an amusement park to crown the King of the Skate Arcade for 2013?
