الصندوق الكويتي للتنمية يقرض “بوروندي” 10 مليون دولار

تم اليوم في بوجمبورا التوقيع على إتفاقية قرض بين جمهورية بوروندي والصندوق الكويتي للتنمية الإقتصادية العربية يقدم الصندوق بمقتضاها قرضاً مقداره إثنان مليون وتسعمائة ألف دينار كويتي ، (أي ما يعادل حوالي 10 مليون دولار أمريكي)، وذلك للإسهام في تمويل مشروع إعادة تأهيل طريق بوجمبورا – نياماتينجا.
وقد وقع إتفاقية القرض، نيابة عن حكومة جمهورية بوروندي، وزير المالية والتخطيط والتنمية الإقتصادية تابو عبدالله مانيراكيزا، بينما وقعها نيابة عن الصندوق الكويتي للتنمية الإقتصادية العربية، نائب المدير العام هشام إبراهيم الوقيان.
ويهدف المشروع المقترح إلى الإسهام في تطوير التعاون الإقليمي وفتح منفذ إلى البحر لكل من بوروندي ورواندا، وزيادة التبادل التجاري بين الدول المجاورة ومساعدة إندماج إقتصادياتهما، وتسهيل حركة نقل البضائع والركاب للمنطقة الغربية لبوروندي وخفض تكلفة النقل وزمن الإنتقال، وفك عزلة القرى الواقعة على مسار الطريق، خاصة في موسم الأمطار، وتشجيع السياحة لبحيرتي تانجانيقا وكيفو، بالإضافة إلى الإسهام في تخفيف Continue reading →
