Uncle Al & Jack review the new Evil Dead reboot official trailer on Trailer Hitch. Uncle Al doesn’t know the original Sam Raimi/Bruce Campbell classic but that doesn’t stop him from commenting on everything from “Tree Rape” to the alleged theft of the Bruce Campbell chainsaw-arm from the original Tobe Hopper Texas Chainsaw Massacre?! Also, ol’ Uncle Al seems to be going off his rocker, thinking Evil Dead is set on a college campus instead of a cabin in the woods, and is about freshman angst and hazing via throwing-up Hawaiian Punch! Meanwhile, Jack insists that the primary reason the original Sam Raimi Evil Dead worked was because of the character “Ash” played by Bruce Campbell – and without Ash there really isn’t much of a story and the reboot is “essentially pointless.” Finally, Uncle Al find the demon tongue-slashing sequence “Hot! Are you a kidding? A two-tongued lesbian?!” With references to Lord of the Flies.
