عارض رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم، السويسري جوزيف سيب بلاتر، فكرة رئيس الاتحاد الأوروبي، الفرنسي ميشال بلاتيني، للعبة بتنظيم نهائيات “يورو 2020” في 13 بلداً، بدلاً من دولة واحدة أو دولتين فقط. وأشار رئيس “فيفا” إلى أن هذا المقترح يذكّره بالزعيم الليبي الراحل معمر القذافي.
