رغم احتفال الأمريكيين بفرحة النصر على تنظيم القاعدة بعد مقتل أسامة بن لادن قبل نحو عامين، لم يتعرف العالم إلى تفاصيل حياة المجموعة العسكرية التي أقدمت على ذلك، إلى أن كشف الصحفي فيل برونستين عن تفاصيل دقيقة في حياة الجندي الذي أطلق ثلاث عيارات نارية على بن لادن، وذلك في مقابلة أجراها معه لمجلة “إسكواير.”
