Possibly one of the darkest mainstream G rated movies of all time, Planet of the Apes’ sequel, Beneath the Planet of the Apes kills off Charlton Heston and replaces the role of “leading man” with James Franciscus. This time, the apes are invading the forbidden zone… where the humans are. And with that comes the most blood we’ve ever seen in a G rated film. Who’s your favorite mutant?
