Peter Gilroy (http://goo.gl/B3Fki) joins Jack & Uncle Al to review the new Zack Snyder Superman film, the Man of Steel official trailer on Trailer Hitch. “Cousin Pete” is initially terrified of crazy Uncle Al but eventually agrees to participate, though Uncle Al thinks he’s “on meds” and should “stop mumbling”. The three heatedly discuss why the new Superman has a beard, whether Kevin Costner, who plays Pa Kent, should instead play the titular character or is too old; that Russell Crowe, who plays Superman’s father Jor-El, should actually play Superman wielding a sword ala Glatiator!; the potential coolness of a movie titled “Superman vs. King Kong”; whether Superman is suffering from gigantism and if that’s a legitimate power; and whether or not it’s wise to get involved with dark, mysterious women who, though exciting, could ultimately kill you. With references to Field of Dreams, Richard Donner’s 1978 Superman, the death of 50’s tv Superman George Reeves, and The Natural with Robert Redford and Barbara Hershey.

We look back at 2011 when Russian climber and B.A.S.E. jumper Valery Rozov broke another record. For the very first time in history, while wearing a wingsuit, he jumped from the Italian slope of Mont Blanc at over 200 km/h and landed on the Brenva Glacier after an 800-meter flight in freefall.
