Thousands of people took to Huntington Beach, California to check out the latest moves in the world of surfing as the competitors battled it out for the $100,000 prize money.

In the end defending champ and local Brett Simpson edged out Jordy Smith to take the 2010 win, and Red Bull surf queen Carissa Moore won the girls competition.
