10 Ways Hollywood Got The Joker Totally Wrong

Hollywood keeps messing up some pretty critical elements of The Joker! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

Batman’s arch-nemesis the Joker is one of the most iconic villains in all of fiction (not just comic books) and, as a result, he’s been played by a number of incredible actors over the years.

Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, Mark Hamill, Heath Ledger, Jared Leto and, most currently, Joaquin Phoenix have all stepped into the role on television and in movies – and every single one of them is unique from the others.

They all had their good points (yes, even Leto), but none of them were perfect – and in this video, we’ll look at ten things about them that were totally wrong.

The ten ways they were presented incorrectly are; Cesar Romero’s version of the character had a moustache UNDER his makeup, Cesar Romero’s version was exceptionally camp, Jack Nicholson’s version took very little effort because he was basically playing himself, Mark Hamill’s version is too censored to portray the Joker’s true nature, Heath Ledger’s version was literally NOTHING like the comics, Jared Leto’s version had teeth grills, Jared Leto’s version had some very silly tattoos, Jared Leto’s version was forced into Suicide Squad for no real reason, Jared Leto’s version had his best scenes cut, and Joaquin Phoenix’s version won’t be playing opposite Batman in next year’s Joker movie.

We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don’t forget to subscribe to Screen Rant’s YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.
