Video games cpoy movies a lot! Thanks for stopping by, and today we’re checking out some of our favourite movie references, spoofs and allusions from some of the best videogames out there. From They Live in Duke Nukem 3D, The Matrix in Conker, Escape from New York’s influence on Metal Gear Solid, Star Fox’s version of Independence Day, The Worms’ love of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Star Wars lines that popping up in Monkey Island, pretty much anything your units say in Starcraft 2 (or any Blizzard game for that matter), right down to Thelma & Louise in Grand Theft Auto – of all places – these film references made us feel smart even when we were having some dumb fun.
