My Cousin Vinny is one of the most memorable comedies of the decade. It gave us a surprisingly solid comedic performance from Joe Pesci and earned newcomer Marisa Tomei an Academy Award for her supporting role.
Funny as it is, at its core, the film holds a riveting courtroom drama with the lives of two innocent men in the balance, begging the question: What would happen if you stripped away all of the comedy?
