Marvel’s Phase 3 Is COMING!!! – CineFIx Now

We’ve been talking about Marvel Studios movies quite a lot recently. But here’s EVEN MORE NEWS. Kevin Feige announced the Marvel Cinematic Universe slate through 2019 at a press event at the El Capitan theater this morning, and here are our takeaways. Subscribe:

Okay, so the lineup is stacked, starting with Captain America: Civil War in May 2016, through Avengers Infinity War Part II in May 2019. In between, we’ve got Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnorok, Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War I, Captain Marvel, and the Inhumans. Whew!

Surprises included the already-casting of Chadwick Boseman (Get On Up, 42) as Black Panther, and Marvel’s joke announcement of Captain America: Serpent Society.

Notably missing were solo Hulk and Black Widow films, and Iron Man 4. But Feige admits they’re not 100% done making announcements yet!

What do you think of Marvel’s big announcement today? Are you all excited for movies happening 5+ years from now? Which movie on the slate has got you the most pumped? Were you surprised by any of the announcements (or fake announcements?)
