Virtual reality isn’t just the stuff of sci-fi or Sword Art Online anymore, it’s a real thing. In fact, VR has been around long enough to enter successive generations of VR headsets, add features, and cut costs. Today is a better time than ever before to get into virtual reality, but it can be overwhelming with all the different headsets and requirements and games out there. Should you go for a Vive or a Rift? Which Rift? Or should you go all out and get an Index? What’s the difference between the Knuckles and other VR controllers? We’re going to break down the top three VR headsets out there and explain what the differences are between them. By the end of this video you should have a good sense of what headset out there might be a good fit for you. Though, it’s important to remember that you’ll need a PC powerful enough to drive whatever headset you pick up, and depending on your headset, it can take more and more expensive hardware to be able to take full advantage of your chosen headset.
