On the Western plains of Mongolia a nomadic group of Kazakhs continue the ancient practice of hunting with golden eagles. The Burkitshi are a small and dwindling community, eager to pass on their traditions in the face of growing modernization in Mongolia.

With so many different types of performances on screen, so many iconic portrayals that exist up and down the spectrum of emotion, it’s impossible to actually rank them. So we’re looking at them categorically, comedy next to drama, big next to small, classic next to method.
Because sometimes the best way to study a topic is to find it’s boundaries.
Comedic (Steve Martin in The Jerk) – Dramatic (Meryl Streep in Sophie’s Choice)
Heightened (Fences) – Understated (Manchester by the Sea)
Script Focused (Elizabeth Taylor in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf) – Improvisational (Brenda Blethyn in Secrets and Lies)
Single Moment (Ellen Burstyn in Requeim for a Dream) – Dynamic Change (Robert DeNiro in Raging Bull)
Classical (Laurence Olivier in Richard III) – Method (Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire)
