Peacemaker: Every DC Reference You Missed

Coming from the hilarious (and sometimes disturbing) mind of James Gunn, it is no surprise that the Peacemaker series is full of laughs, gore, great music, kooky ensemble characters, heart and references to the comic books and other movies in general. In fact there are so many references to just the comic books alone that there is plenty of material to make a video on just all the Easter Eggs and call backs to DC and the DCEU. So, that’s exactly what we did!

In this video we are going to take a look at all of the DC references you might have missed and some that admittedly you would have caught but we want to put in there anyway. From images of obscure supervillains hidden on dartboards in the background, posters of characters yet to be seen in live action, call back to DCs history and glory days, references to one of their biggest and greatest heroes – Batman, references to a number of villains that you likely wouldn’t have heard of, name drops of some truly bizarre heroes (that I now really want to see in live action), all of the comic references with Peacemaker’s gadgets, the differing history between two main characters in the show, a possible reference to a super ape, the introduction of a fictional country and of course call backs to James Gunn’s first DC outing – The Suicide Squad. So, let’s take a look at all things DC as we look at every reference to take place in the Peacemaker series.

What did you make of this video? Are you a fan of the show? Are there any references that we missed? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to like and subscribe to the channel today for all this and more.
