Some people do the strangest things, it’s obvious they shouldn’t. Like backflipping when you can’t, getting your head stuck in a pumpkin for no good reason, or even… pairing your Samsung TV with a non-Samsung soundbar. Why would you do that?

Video game consoles have always been super expensive – and naturally gave birth to a ton of knock off accessories. These are 10 of those after market controllers you’d never want to have to play with!

We’ve listed the ten worst gaming controllers money can buy for your entertainment, and ours. With competitive gaming and eSports on the rise, you can’t risk being knocked out of a tournament because of a faulty controller. You have to know your handheld controller like the back of your hand so you can win win win. And even for all the recreational gamers out there – if you’re going to spend hours playing a game, there are certain pitfalls you want to avoid, and having a terrible controller is one of them
As much as we like looking at what’s the best buy in terms of controllers to gain an edge, sometimes it’s comforting to know that there are many consumers who were duped. Sometimes, it’s their punishment for cheaping out, buying a less expensive aftermarket controller. And sometimes it’s because of their attraction to a strange novelty item.
We’re going to look at (surprise surprise) a lot of Mad Catz controllers, a bowling ball controller, a sword, a PC controller with a really big ball, a controller based on the Wu-Tang iron lung symbol, a controller with a wheel on it, and some retro rehashes that missed their mark. It’s fun to think that they tried really hard and failed, the way we tried really hard to beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma and failed. Keep on the lookout for these duds at swap meets, garage sales and flea markets, and remember this video.
