[ Large, high-resolution 12.2-inch screen ]
The centerpiece of the NotePRO is the 12.2-inch 2,560 x 1,600 resolution touchscreen display. Having more screen estate means you can read more of your emails, digital magazines and web pages at a glance with less scrolling. The NotePRO also lets you customize additional home screen to see recent photos from your gallery, check important news feeds, quickly access most frequently used apps.
[ Enhanced multitasking ]
With a larger screen, you can be more productive and multitask with ease. A simple swipe from the bezel activates Multi Window which lets you run up to four apps in each quadrant of the panel at once. Resize these windows, or switch between apps simply by dragging the onscreen control nub from one corner to another.
You can also run two of the same apps side-by-side which is great for copying-and-pasting contents between documents. Plus, the NotePRO comes with the S Pen, which means you have a handy set of features such as Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder and Pen Window via Air Command (also available on the Note 3 and Note 10.1 2014 Edition).
[ Powerful productivity ]
In addition to Multi Window, the NotePRO comes with a suite productivity tools including Remote PC, CiscoWebEx Meetings and Samsung e-Meeting services. These let you access and control your home/office PC to edit and save files remotely, hold a group video/voice call and share screens, and share contents during a meeting without using a central server or network.
The full-size virtual keyboard on the NotePRO also lets you type comfortably while utilizing haptic feedback for a more realistic experience. There are the usual set of Ctrl, Shift, Caps Lock and Tab keys that you’d find on a regular keyboard, and dedicated arrow keys. You can also copy/cut-and paste using the Ctrl key combination just like you would on a PC.
For added value and producitivity, the NotePRO features premium subscription offers from a variety of best-selling news, social media and cloud storage providers including Bitcasa, Bloomberg Businessweek+, Blurb, Dropbox, Easilydo Pro for Tablet, Evernote, Hancom Office for Android, LinkedIn, NY Times, Oxford Advanced Learner’s A-Z and Sketchbook Pro.
There are also optional accessories such as Book Cover, USB LAN Hub, Universal Bluetooth Keyboard and S Action Mouse to complement the experience.
