Independence Day Returns, Will Doesn’t – CineFix Now

Are you excited for the Independence Day sequel, now slated for 2016? Well, Will Smith isn’t. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9AGRm

The Independence Day sequel (already nicknamed ID4-2, or ID Forever parts I & II), are currently slated for release in 2016, a full 20 years after the original broke the box office and catapulted Will Smith to stardom. And while Roland Emerich, Dean Devlin, and presumably a lot of the original cast will be back, the guy who got the biggest career bump from the blockbuster won’t.

The plot looks to be a 20-years-later deal, and you can be sure there will be plenty of a-splosions as long as Emmerich is at the helm.

What do you think of Will Smith’s decision to sit this sequel out? Will it affect your decision to see the sequel(s) or not? Want to share any wild speculation about the plot? Let us know in the comments below!
